12″
The classic 12-inch LP format is synonymous with the vinyl record.
Colors
We press 12″ records in a variety of colors—both solid and transparent.
140–180g
You can choose between 140g and 180g vinyl. It’s a common myth that 180-gram vinyl offers better sound quality, but this is not the case. However, a 180-gram disc can give a sense of luxury and higher quality.
33 or 45 rpm
You can choose between 33 rpm and 45 rpm.
The maxi-single
The 12″ format is also used for ”maxi-singles,” which are almost always cut at 45 rpm, with typically up to two tracks per side. This format became popular among DJs during the disco era in the 70s. DJs would often extend versions of songs, meaning the versions played in discotheques were often different from those released commercially on LPs at 33 rpm. The key difference is that the tracks are cut with wider spacing, allowing for greater dynamic range and higher volume.
